A ghost quarm eating a sumpwood seedpod
Ghost quarms were a shy, rare species of quarm that lived only in the sumpwood stands of the Midwood Marshes. They lived among the sumpwood roots, and they subsisted off of the sumpwood seedpods that fell down. Ghost quarms were small, plump, squat, and had silvery fur. They had long, sinewy limbs and dexterous fingers, which they used to pick up seedpods. They broke through the outer casing of the seedpods with their two distinctive yellow incisors extending down from their upper jaw. Lanternjaws preyed upon ghost quarms.
