Giant barkbeetles

Giant Barkbeetles were insects with huge shells found in the Deepwoods. The outer carapace could be used to make an instrument from both the wind and string family. This instrument was also made out of a hollowed length of Lufwood and the gut of a woodcat and mentioned in The Curse of the Gloamglozer.
