The Hemtuft Battleaxe Legion, commonly nicknamed the "Bloody Blades" was a division of the Hive Militia. They were an elite regiment of Long-Haired Goblins who were well-trained and equipped. Soldiers of this regiment wore black uniforms with silver buttons, and armed with muskets and axes.
Though first they were seen as disciplined, during the Battle of the Midwood Marshes they gave in to bloodlust and charged straight into the fire of the the Great Glade Militia, losing many of their number.
