  • In sky ship infoboxes, if a ship was grounded, that should be noted under the destruction section, as well as its actual destruction
  • If there are two pages with the same title, they should both be specified by brackets () in their titles
  • All lists should be in alphabetical order, with the exception of books, which should be in Edgeworld chronological order
  • A page will be made for Tweezel's varnish
  • Chat will be moved to the original time (5:30 PM UCT), until a time where more people can attend is found

Issues discussed:

  • Separate pages should be created for each story within The Lost Barkscrolls
  • An infobox will be created for ships, containing:
    • Name
    • Captain
    • Crew
    • Age of Flight
    • Appearances
    • Type of ship (skycraft, skytavern, phraxsloop, etc.)
    • Construction
    • Destruction
    • Picture
  • The Cities category will be removed, and replaced with a Settlements category
    • It will be a subcategory of Places
    • It will include smaller towns and villages, not just cities
  • When listing books, put them in chronological order (Quint Trilogy, then Twig Trilogy, etc.)
  • Infobox titles should be capitalised (Character Info, not Character info)
  • A new Trivia category should be created, including:
    • Information from polls, which will be moved onto relevant pages
    • Any errors or inconsistencies
    • Any "Did you know..." information
    • Any pages with "... also exists in real life."
  • The Behind the Scenes category will be changed to include:
    • Images from Chris Riddell's blog/black book
    • Any additional information provided by the authors that wasn't in The Edge Chronicles
    • Anything else will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis
  • Any speculation will also be dealt with on a case-by-case basis
  • Founder's Day is to be celebrated on February 18th, the day the Wiki was started
    • Feb 18th 2018 is the Wiki's 10th birthday

Issues discussed:

  • The "the" at the start of a page should be bold, along with the page name. (E.g. "The Boom Docks...")
    • However, in the case of sky-ship or book names, only the exact title should be italicised. (E.g. "The Bringer of Doom...")
  • In image captions, full stops/periods should not be used. (E.g. "A dead skullpelt")
    • Other punctuation, such as commas, exclamation marks or speech marks may be used where necessary.
  • Capital letters should only be used at the beginnings of sentences or proper nouns. (E.g. "Togtuft Hegg was a long-haired goblin.")
    • This mainly applies to links which are currently unnecessarily capitalised (E.g. "Togtuft Hegg was a Long-Haired Goblin.")
  • Should the Sanctaphrax category only contain places, should it be a subcategory, and should it contain anything from New Sanctaphrax?
  • When something is mentioned in The Lost Barkscrolls, should the specific story be used?
  • When mentioning the Free Glades, what should they be called?
    • "Freeglades" is an adjective, used when referring to Freegladers, the Freeglades Council, the Freeglade Lancers, etc.
    • "Free Glades" is the noun, referring to the actual place.
    • "Free Glades" should be used.
  • The First Age of Flight only officially ended when Tweezel invented varnish, starting the Second Age of Flight.
    • Anyone who was mentioned before 60 ᴇ.ʏ. should be put in the First Age of Flight category.
  • The use of Behind the Scenes will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, depending on how interesting/important the information is.
  • Can descriptions of characters be made from images?
    • Qoutes from the text must be used, if available.
    • If no quotes are available, images may be used.

Issues discussed:

  • Gloamglozer will add christmas-themed images to the Main Page
  • How to deal with different categories for species
    • Categories for species 'families' will be kept
      • Goblins
      • Symbite Goblins
      • Lop-ear goblins
      • Furrow-brow goblins
      • Elves
      • Trolls
      • Trogs
      • Possible others
    • Sub-species will be removed, and a list of all named members will be added to their page
      • Oakelves
      • Woodtrolls
      • Possible others
    • Fourthlings will be kept as a category, because there are so many of them
  • A page will be made for Quint's sword miniature
  • Which E.Y. should be used?
    • The smaller (ᴇ.ʏ.) looks nice, but has to be copied and pasted every time (Or just use the template by typing {{E.Y.}} )
    • The larger (E.Y.) doesn't look so nice, but is much easier to write
    • The smaller (ᴇ.ʏ.) was chosen, so every larger (E.Y.) will be replaced over time
  • If anything has a real-world counterpart, it should be in the Behind the Scenes category and have a heading "Behind the Scenes", explaining its relation to the real world
  • From April to July, there will be a reread of the entire Edge Chronicles series
    • A blog post will be made about it in March/April
    • During this, each week we'll focus on one book, and try to make as many edits as possible about it
    • Until then, we will try to expand the Cade Saga, because it lacks detail
  • There are certain editions of the books which have 1-page short stories in the front, each about a minor character
    • We are trying to find out which editions had these, and how to find them

Issues discussed:

  • The Strange Traveler will maybe edit the Farrow Ridges after Undertown and the Deepwoods
  • What classifies an article stub?
    • Categorizing an article as a stub signals other people that the article needs work. It is also helpful to remember later that you wanted to look something up/edit something later/let others check for grammar. If you have nothing to do, you can also just look up the category and see what pages need work.
  • Who should be on the list of deaths?
    • This should be decided by answering the follwing questions:
      • 1) Was it one (possibly named) person?
      • 2) Did this character's death influence any other character's decisions?
      • So for example: Academy of Wind = Unnamed people, no impacts on character's decisions, shouldn't be included. Tug's mother = Named, Tug fled the Nightwoods, should be included
      • Pets/prowlgrins are to be included because they were named, and were often significant, but not other animals.
      • Named characters should generally be separated from groups
      • Exceptions may be made in certain cases
  • How do we deal with last words that we don't know?
    • "N/A" (not applicable) if someone is not capable of speech (E.g. The Great Blueshell Clam)
    • "Varies" if members of a group said different things, but they should generally be seperated.
    • Words over sounds: If someone uttered last words, then screamed and then died, we keep the last words, instead of the scream.
    • Speech marks seperate words from sounds. "Aiiii" is a word, but "he screamed" is a description of a sound.
    • "Unknown" everywhere we don't know if someone said something/too much happened between what he said and when he died. Blanks should be filled as fast as possible.
    • All these should be added as a key to the Deaths in the Edge Chronicles page.
  • Graphics of the list of deaths could be added.
